Brief Itinerary:

Morning:  Drive to Mingun and explore

Afternoon:  Sagaing Hill Exploration & Lunch break

Evening:  Ava Horse Cart Tour & enjoy sunset from U Bein Bridge

Tour starts at 8:00 (or) 8:30 am.

Meet our English speaking local guide and car at your hotel.

Drive to Mingun, crossing the Ayeyarwaddy River and passing through the Sagaing Hill. Upon arrival Mingun, visit Pahtodawgyi temple, King Bodawpaya began construction in 1790 that if it had been completed, would become one of the biggest in the world. Gaze in wonder at cracks in the structure which remain from the 1839 earthquake.

See the enormous Mingun Bell that weighs roughly 90 tons (200,000 lb).

Visit to the former residence of the famous monk in Myanmar who was listed in Guinness Book as a record holder in the Human memory category.

Continue to Set Taw Yar Pagoda which was constructed as the meaning of Taj Maha in India.

After your exploration in Mingun, drive back to Sagaing Hill and visit Sunn Oo Ponya Shin and U Min Thone Zal (Thirty Cave Pagoda) on the tranquil Sagaing Hill. Also drop by at a local silverware cottage industry if time allows.

Then, enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant and drive to Ava.

Explore Ava Ancient Capital by horse cart and visit Bargayar monastery, built in 1834 AD, leaning tower or Nanmyint tower built in 1822 AD, Maenu Stuccomonastery or Mahaaungmyaebonsan monastery built in 1822AD.

After exploration in Ava, drive back to Amarapura Township (former capital in 18th century). If time allow, visit to weaving industry and the biggest monastery to learn about our Buddhist monkhood in Myanmar. In the end, enjoy the sunset at the world famous Teak Bridge (U Bein Bridge).

Then, transfer back to your hotel.
